Welcome to our latest offering, “LET THEM PLAY” – It does exactly what it say’s in the title.
A large number of young children are new to playing in a team and are oblivious to the pressure put upon them from the side lines. A combination of mixed instructions being bellowed, children not knowing whether to run, pass, shoot or just “boot” the ball. These all have an affect on the children’s development.
LET THEM PLAY is aimed at children aged 5-7 years of age who either have experience in playing with a team or that are new to it.
The children will be mixed around into different teams and encouraged to work with others and create new bonds. They will then take part in match play where they can learn from their own mistakes, but more importantly play in a relaxed environment.
The coaches will referee the matches and be on hand to advise, but not to stop the games and coach. Parents can stand back and enjoy watching their child develop and progress.
Quote from Freddie Gibbens aged 6 years, “I enjoy training, but sometimes I like to just play matches & have fun without being stopped all the time”.
Our session takes place 5-6pm on a Friday evening at the Hub, Eastleigh. Matches are played outdoors on the all-weather pitch. Spaces are limited so booking is essential – Contact Us
